    Happy thing - my very talented dressmaker friend randomly made me a cushion and sent it to me in the post! It’s not even my birthday. I admired some fabric she used for a dress a few weeks back and the cushion is in that fabric. Probably cutoffs from the dress but still though. The stitching is unbelievable and there’s a zip and all so I can wash it. So thoughtful.

    Riding my bike, started back into it in May of this year and am loving it to the extent that I now commute the 10 miles from work a few times a week and have travelled the country using various greenways and sportives the rest of the summer at weekends. I've fully kitted the bike and myself to keep it going through winter too. Clears the head and I feel so much fitter and awake when I get home.

    You know when you're quite worried / upset about something and it dominates your thoughts. Well today about 3 hours passed where I didn't think about that thing once. And it's a little victory as my head has been in a dark place with it for a while now.

    I found a folder of old emails today, sorting through them I found an email from someone I used to know,
    he was horribly down on himself as he had been told from an early age that he was useless, he has a particular problem with things like reading speedomators and measuring tapes.

    Th the email was from him to say that he had followed my advice and have his eyes tested and now that he could see properly for the first time in his life and coming to grips with numbers!

    First day of school for my little fella, I can't believe it. How time flies. I imagine it'll be like snapping my fingers and it'll be communion, confirmation, secondary school, JC, LC, etc.

    Same as any large office there are leaving emails sent around on fridays. Some people don’t just email people they know and instead send to 2,000 people across different offices. Ok their choice though most have no idea who you are

    A guy sent his email, very standard and a few minutes later a girl on his team sent a photo of massive love heart ❤️ and some lines about being special, best boyfriend bla bla

    Hehe she hit reply all and 2,000 people now know they are a couple
