I did. It was in the moment that her calm, studied, self assured facade went out the window and rage momentarily took over. There was a bit more to her than surface level. She was actually really nice, very determined though. In fairness she got the Andrea thing constantly.

Yes, that must have been awful. :pac:

Sounds like a first draft of a Richie Kavanagh song.

I liked Andrea the best but their Music made me want to bash my head off a wall

For me, it represents the Golden Age of our "Notions" at a national level. Along with the chopping in of Blue Nun and Black Tower for Riesling and Merlot, and deciding we could all be rich if we borrowed shed-loads of money to buy each other's crappy houses. :pac:

Very weird comment to bring up wines that mostly sold in the 70s and 80s and barely on the shelves after that. I know you can still get them but unusual to see them.
People did start drinking more wine in the late 90s but not that crap.

Black Tower isn't crap, it's quite a nice Liebfraumilch.

Mass made chemical tasting wine is not what I like. It certainly isn't rated as a very nice wine but somebody will like it the same way some people like Budweiser. One thing us known it's popularity in Ireland was not the 90s.

Obviously you don't as you don't even know the type of wine it is either. Still a very poor "joke" which appears to be a rehash from the 80s as opposed to your own observations

It was always Andrea followed by the fiddler sister for me. Beautiful women if a little on the slim side.

Andrea always had that look about her that reminded me of girls I would lust after in my teens. She could charm me into buying magic beans with those eyes.

AHH the fiddler sister, any of the sisters can fiddle with me. 🀫🀭🀭

Went out with a girl that bore more than a passing resemblance to Andrea at the turn of the century (I just like how that makes me feel ****ing ancient). I remember remarking upon this on our third date, at which point she slapped me full force in the face. Apparently she'd heard this observation more than one time before.

In fairness that kind of thing does get very annoying. Last date I was on the girl said 'omg, you look just like Chris Hemsworth!'.

I told her to go fcuk herself and I stormed off home.

Caroline was always my favourite, the other two were too skinny/gaunt looking. Jim was the odd one out because he was a wanker.

Friend of a friend is one of four sisters. She has brown hair and her sisters are three blonde stunners. She calls herself Jim Corr. :pac:

(She actually has the same face as her sisters, but shorter brown hair rather than long blonde hair).

After Hours, I'm ashamed of you.

I'm not impressed with this thread one bit.

People told me I looked like Andrea Corr when I was a young wan. I would say “do you mean Sharon Corr?” as I thought she was the good looking one and Andrea the weird gothy looking one.
“No definitely Andrea” was always the reply.
Now I think Sharon has aged badly, v. gaunt and Caroline is the good looking one
