Ailesbury Road mansion, quiet life with a rich husband and kids. A very cosy retirement consisting of dinner parties and brunch.

I presume she was able to avail of a bulk buying discount by stocking up on that at the start of her career. See her through to the end.

I'd say now she looked great without the eye make-up too and it didn't make her look ill. ;)
Went out with a girl that bore more than a passing resemblance to Andrea at the turn of the century (I just like how that makes me feel ****ing ancient). I remember remarking upon this on our third date, at which point she slapped me full force in the face. Apparently she'd heard this observation more than one time before. Liked her even more then. Determined young lady she was. I wonder does she still look like Andrea.

What would you do? I’d only bone Jim with a butcher knife.

Besides, have you seen the state of them recently?

They all look like they’re starving junkies.

Like others, I thought the other two girls were better-looking. Andrea had a gothy charm though, I guess. And beautiful skin.

But, god, I hate the Corrs’ music. Really, really hate it.

What in the fuck? Psycho. You liked her more for that?

Worked part time in Tesco Baggots Street during college and Andrea occasionally came in - remember selling her a French roll & melon. She used to wear a baseball cap and did have fabulous skin. She was TINY. Remember Kevin Spacey also coming in but I was helping an elderly lady with her shopping and missed serving him (probably not a bad thing given the current state of affairs) It was a really busy store in a celeb spotting zone. However, Bill O’Herlihy was the nicest “celebrity” I served (he bought brown bread)

The sisters are still beautiful imo, if very thin. A healthy slim and they'd be knockouts.

They all look great for their age. Even him.

I did. It was in the moment that her calm, studied, self assured facade went out the window and rage momentarily took over. There was a bit more to her than surface level. She was actually really nice, very determined though. In fairness she got the Andrea thing constantly.

I remember being mesmerised by her beauty back in the day, there may even have been the odd spell of **** induced blindness, but looking at her now - she was hot, but nothing particularly special. The music was and still is appalling!

Unacceptable behaviour. I'd have given her a shot into the mouth back and marched out the door without a word.

I couldn't spend time with anyone who thinks it's acceptable to slap another person in the face because of something they said.

A slap in the face, just no. Particularly for a non existent reason like that (it was a compliment - no matter how many times it was said!)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭Franz Von Peppercorn II

The used to slap people (well mostly women) all the time back in the day. At least in the movies.

It was always Andrea followed by the fiddler sister for me. Beautiful women if a little on the slim side.

Andrea always had that look about her that reminded me of girls I would lust after in my teens. She could charm me into buying magic beans with those eyes.

I don't remember the music being bad !!

50 slaps doled out by the women

3 slaps doled out by the men

    Yes, I was keeping score.

Heard her mentioned for the first time in years today. Where did she disappear to? I mean, to this day, of any woman I've ever seen, she is probably the most beautiful, up there anyway. Stunning. She really was, THAT beautiful! And her voice was brilliant too

Think she's been forgotten about these days a bit with the publicity surrounding Sinéad O'Connor, Dolores O'Riordan and others, including her brother. If I could describe anyone as an angel, it would be her :).

    I’m eating my breakfast, Kate.
