Masters in Translation

    Hi, If I was to graduate with my degree in Computer Science and Spanish do you think I would be eligible to do a masters in Translation somewhere? Or can it only be a degree that is solely languages in order to be eligible for a masters in translation? Thanks

    Conor,
    You could do the MA in Advanced Language Skills and specialise in Spanish.
    MA in Translation courses usually require at least two languages.

    Hi.UCC has one I think.
    NUIG definitely has. My sister did it - She had IT and German. Loved it.

    She had a degree in IT and German & she was able to do the applied languages masters?

    Yes, you need one language for the MA (ALS) in NUIG.
