Im looking for information about procedures for this court in respect of objection to a liquor license namely on the basis of noise pollution. Is this court a valid forum for such a complaint? Or it is limited to only matters of the service of alcohol?

If the former I would appreciate any guidance on procedure. There is limited information online but from what I can gather the objection has to be in writing to the license holder 21 days in advance of the district court hearing. Is there a form or format that this must take or is it a simple letter outlining the objection and the reasons why?

Also if the judge accepts that there is noise pollution and all attempts to resolve it between parties have not born fruit then what happens next, what powers can the judge exercise or what can you expect to happen?

Think the licensing courts are held every July. If you contact the local District Court Office they will give you the info you need.

The annual licensing courts are held in September. Dates available from the local DC office.
Notice of objection has to be given.

What nuac said - talk to a solicitor. Licensing is a fairly technical area. Plus, the publican has a large commercial investment in his licence; it's a very valuable asset to him. He will certainly retain the expertise he needs to counter any objections you make, so you need someone suitably qualified to advise you how to frame and present your objections, and how to anticipate likely responses from the publican.
