Twitter is fine for following certain things that interest me, there's lots of very knowledgeable posters there. And lots of lunatics too, they can be very funny when they get offended:D

Those vegans, just wind them up and let them off

And what about us here? Geniuses or lunatics? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Am I following any of ye on twitter if ye know who I am.
Of course we have to be better behaved over there. :D:D

I think I might be following ya.

Tbh I'm using Twitter for snooping.
And there's some great posters on Twitter.

All the academics are posting results on Twitter. The personal stuff doesn't interest me. But then I am a robot.

Thought Connemara was very good, made the best of the land he had, ground that would be alien to most. Wasn’t afraid to work a shovel and pick.

Bob Charles..... if an idea wasn’t his way of doing things, he’d give no time to consider it.

All the forums are so quiet. There'd be a new post in Farming and Forestry between every refresh.

Lady Haywire is a loss alright, I follow her on Twitter and a few of the other ones on here that I can identify.. Twitter is a bit of a paid as you have to scroll through all the political stuff which doesn't interest me. The one thing I like about boads is people put up what works for them & then you can take that idea and modify it to suit your own system…

I am a big twitter fan (kevhog88_22). Get a lot of advice on there and also spend a lot of time talking to a group of other die hard kildare gaa fans on a group chat on it. I enjoy seeing pics of other people's farms on it and trying topick ppls brains. Some very smart ppl post on it (and here).

The strange thing about boards I find that I learn more from the people I disagree with than the people that I agree with.its great to hear a different view. Bass, dawg straight and a few more are great for a bit of sparring and great to keep a fella thinking

It's very easy to tell people what they want to hear. It harder to explain to people what they do not want go listen to.

I make more wrong decisions( mistakes) than right decisions. However I always try not to keep on making the same mistake and if a decision is correct I try to keep with that decision. The other thing about farming it very similar to technology it keeps changing and you have to change with it.

What I find about farming is many think it's easy to keep accepting if I invest more that this will sort an issue or problem. However I have come to the conclusion we often accept making extra investment to achieve extra turnover which often entails extra work with little or no extra margin to us farmers.

Now I question every extra cost and I am slow to add cost into the system

Saw the wolf of wall street talking one time.

He said the difference between him with his millions and others was he makes 7 mistakes for every one average guy makes but he doesn't care, just learns and tries again.
