Simple question, I'd have thought though. It's a discussion site is it not? Are you afraid of being shown up as a hypocrite? So again, simple question... is boxing ''a sport for thugs played by thugs''. I won't ask about other sports, don't worry.

I despaired at the time of the press conference in Dublin where every one was raving about McGregor's actions in insulting, bullying and intimidating Aldo with drunk, coked up idiots cheering him on.

What about the "hilarity" of that punk kid Nate "The Great" from SBG asking a smart arse question to huge encouragement and cheers. McGregor was then an embarrassment to both the sport and to Ireland, but all these wannabe tough guys saw him as something to look up to.

He is a scumbag drug taker, bully, who cheats on his wife, and despite "billion" wealth can't even support the child he has in the UK and all of a sudden now fans are trying to turn away from him - you reap what you sow, and I look forward to what it hopefully a quick demise.

You can train all you want but you can't buy class.

I point out that there’s been a host of footballers do thuggish and unsavoury things as well as a degenerate element in their support and you’ve no point to make at all.

Fair enough if the sport isn’t to your taste, but calling a hugely popular sport practiced around the world solely a preserve for thugs is just plain stupid.

It was quite obvious to some of us from day one that he was a knacker..

But yes, an awful lot of them. In fact I would say the majority of adult hurlers are scum. How else would you explain the pathetic fights in every match?
