That'll give me more confidence for when we play Utd.
I make it just 3-0 to Utd.

We could nick a half though.

Gomez very ropey at the back at the moment

Gomez having a mare here. He just isn't a right back.

That touch pass by Bobby. So unselfish. Brilliant
He is vital. As are Mane and Salah in their positions. Worried that one gets injured and misses serious time this season.

To be fair, the coach saw what we saw, and made a huge change by bringing on Bobby.

Yes, but it doesn't mean that all the players are poor or all off the pace.

    Always so much overreaction.

This is only their second game and is a prestigious friendly.

Pulisic looks a good player. Would have been ideal depth for us. Would get plenty of game time.

Tonight is kinda showing we have no adequate replacements for Bobby and TAA.

Trent definatley, though I think Origi would have been an able replacement for Bob alright. Ox just left a total vacuum though. Still plenty of sharpness for him to find.

Already look so much better balanced now.

I think we could even draw level if we get the right referee.

Rubbish. This is a Cup worth winning. European teams take this seriously. It's silverware.

A lot of the players were well off the pace in the first half. Chelsea dominated from the 15mins onwards. Mid could get a kick, defense ropey, and we didn't offer much in attack.

    Meh.

Prestigious friendly sums it up well tbh

One big problem I have with PSG as a 'global brand' is they only get crowds of just over 40,000. I mean Paris is one of the biggest cities in Europe. And it has no split in support within the city like London or Madrid or Milan have. They really should be getting Barcelona level crowds considering where they are based.

That's the point I think though... they're not trying to be a global brand in the way liverpool are for instance - the football is secondary for them.. it's just a means to an end to get the name out there, like the way they've been trying to get rid of the Saint Germaine part of the name... they want to just be a brand of cool, associated with a cool city. The football business is far less important than the sense of celebrity and 'bling' and 'premium' around it. Blegh.

It's great to get a trophy but quickly forgotten about if lost unlike the league in 14 or Champion's League last year or 2007.

It'll be nice to get a trophy but it's not a major one.

Also, many players are still building match fitness and sharpness at this stage of the season. It's normal.

Either way when opposition teams dominate for a period then players always say that players are off the pace , etc.

Gomez will cost us again. He is turning like a bus.

    Needs to be subbed.

Tell that to the Wall of Champions. This trophy counts.

Kante has been immense, he's running rings around Fabinho.

Feel sorry for Ox but Bobby offers so much more. If it wasn't so early in the season then Ox would have made a decent sub in the second half.
