Beginner trombone?

I've been thinking about learning to play trombone, and wondering about what starting instrument to go for. I've never played before so I'm weary that I may not stick it though. I found there's a place in mountjoy sq that it's possible to rent instruments from. Is there any downsides to this?

dunno about that, but I bought one off ebay for €20.

the lacquer on the brass wasn't pretty but it works!

I'm guessing that you couldn't rent one for €20 for very long......
