Just want to find out a clarification of the no google rule.

Is it similar to the no research rule, where you should not learn the answer to the question after reading the question.

If the question was 'who played maverick in top gun' and you just couldn't remember, but you knew it was the same actor who played peter pan in hook, and you had hook dvd sitting in your DVD collection, the no research rule prohibits you from picking up that hook dvd and reading the name Robin Williams off the cover.

Is the no google rule as prohibitive as the no research rule?

Yes sKeith, no research allowed, I will update the OP

I would have thought its a given. No googling, no asking someone, no checking out threads on the movie forum, no searching dvd collection, netflix etc etc

    leading-ladies-7fb282cd.jpeg?ver=1488455952&aspectratio=1.3597733711048

2 Judy Garland starred as Dorothy Gale in which classic movie?
3 Which actress plays the character "Storm" in X Men?
4 Which famous actress played Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany's and died in 1993?
5 Who played Baby in the film Dirty Dancing?
6 Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy starred together in which 2013 comedy movie?
7 Which actress played Winifred in the 1993 movie Hocus Pocus?
8 Which female actress won an Oscar for their best performance in a leading role in "Silver Linings Playbook"?
9 Who plays Cinderella in the 2015 movie?

Submitted my answers there. Fairly sure I'm wrong on #6 but I couldn't watch past the first 10 minutes of the god damn thing so I don't even care if I get that one wrong. I hate Melissa McCarthy.

I hate Sandra Bullock as well tbh. So that movie makes me particularly angry, if it's the one I'm thinking of.
