crashed the chromebook but it had a damaged screen

    such an idiot.

    i was trying to see could i get linux working on it so i was following suggestions to put it into recovery mode.

    but as this already had its screen cracked , i had been using it with a monitor, and when i pressed esc refresh power it went blank then got it to power on but all its doing is beeping twice and no signal going to the monitor. think its dead. any ideas?

    Did you try removing the Read/Write screw to enable write ?
