6 Years is nothing - sentences in this country are a joke.

Very lenient sentence considering what the others got, perhaps someone was using the golden typewriter while in custody.
The Thompson brothers will be nobodies by the time they get out Finglas Gangland will of changed considerably

Roughly 3 years to go with time served plus remission.

He has also been charged with that shooting outside the players lounge so it's not all as rosy as it seems for him

Do yous reckon Flashy is still in Dublin?
Surely with all this heat on him and the gang he'd try and leave for somewhere quieter than Finglas.

I also see that Karl Mac is back from wherever he was hiding and back posting on social media.
Temporally deactivated his account after Littles murder

not really the max is 10 years for what he was done for.

He is 40 years old and previously an upstanding citizen with no previous convictions if anything 6 years was almost a bit harsh.

I can see the DPP appealing that.

No previous just means he hasn't been caught before. 6 years for conspiring to kill someone is a joke.

Great clean out today. Hope it’s only the beginning.
It will make young gullible lads think before becoming involved.
Well done to the detectives and judge.

The judge said he was very fortunate that the max sentence is only 10 years and then gives him 6? I’m confused.

Also..what’s a golden typewriter? Have seen it mentioned here and in comments on The Journal.

The golden typewriter means he turned grass and made statements. Joseph Kelly got 12 years and Luke Wilson got 11. Alan only got six and that speaks for itself. No wonder his lawyer said he got a hiding inside and is under threat.

The whole report in the is odd and hard to read.

Calling the Gardai cops is a good sign of sh1t reporting.

    https://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/gardai-foil-more-than-60-murder-plots-in-unrelenting-fight-against-organised-crime-940235.html
Gardaí have foiled more than 60 gangland murder bids in the last three years.
It comes as gardaí said the fight against organised crime is “unrelenting”.

New figures show that in the last four years, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau have seized 101 firearms, 3,300 rounds of ammunition, made more than 650 arrests, recovered almost €10m in cash and €158m worth of drugs.
Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll said a total of nine people have been jailed in the last two weeks, including six men on Monday at the Special Criminal Court....

    On a separate note --- :eek::eek:
Prison Riots in Brazil 52 dead (16 of them beheaded) and they are locked in a 'room' and still fighting.

Whatever we may think about the scum on our streets, we don't have it all bad.

WTF is with the beheading in South America?

You can be sure that the Bouncer was told not to intervene.

Why would you risk your life and having Oconnors crew shooting up your house for 80eur a night.

It seems they have a few plans put in place coming weeks.

Maria Bailey must be getting a bit worried now.
Some of her 'colleagues' are saying that she should be 'axed'....

Sorting out the Dublin boyos with a bit of Belfast efficiency.

Anyone else gotten that stuff on WhatsApp with some lad taking a lie detector test to prove he didn't have someone killed?

Well he passed the test from what I can see. The lads he's trying to convince don't seem to be buying it though.
