    You are best to go to an accredited laboratory. The HSE also carry out testing

    The cost of running and maintaining scientific instruments plus getting accreditation is very expensive.

    When I had it done, they sent someone to the house to collect the sample so you are paying for that plus the lab time, materials and administration.
