My friend finally got buried yesterday in Florida, 16 days after his passing and we still don't know why he died.

My wife is devastated and has yet to come to terms with returning here knowing that he is gone from our lives.

Waiting for my lunch in a pub called hammered after arguing with my dressmaker. Have to go back in about an hour so thought food and a vodka might make me less likely to get arrested for murder

My favorite kind of person :D
Vodka does not diffuse a situation, ever, ever. :D but I do like an optimistic person!

    I’m working today

I am up but shuffling around the place like someone twice my age. Hangovers seem to physically disable me these days!

    Porchside with my third cuppa.;)

Sun sail is rigged, clothes are on the line and i’ve already 26,1 degree in the shadow. Predicted are 39 in Breisach, Germany. Two parts of the city are celebrating their 1200 year anniversary this weekend. Not quite sure if i can muster the will to endure the heat.

On the other hand half a litre wine spritzer might help.:D

    Excellent choice of music!

Anything with a sound. Currently bouncing to Ed Sheeran. ''If you cross her, you cross me...better pay your respects to the Queen ''

    I love variety

Amazing weather here. Enjoying the chance to wear sari skirts and strappy tops. I'm like lots of people in that I'm a thousand times happier in the sun :)

I was out in Ennis last night and it really was like a ghost town. The upside was the ability to have a conversation without shouting :)

I am sitting on the couch with a nice strong coffee listening to Brendan O'Connor and his painful panel of guests.

Also I've decided I'd like to get married. Now himself has been around that block already so I'm taking applications.

    :p

Could you get married to the spire?

A bit like that woman that married the Eiffel tower a few years ago.

Listening to some 'choons' while catching up on chores in the kitchen, forgotten how great a soundtrack to your day can be!

And second song that came up n my playlist was Arclight by The Fat Lady Sings, and we were only talking about it here a few days ago...
