weightlifting mats are usually rubber. ice hockey pucks are rubber. Gym mats might be rubber.

Bicycle tyres are rubber. It's a matter of interpretation whether bikes are in most homes. They are if you include sheds and gardens as part of a home.

You wear a gum shield. I doubt it's rubber.

Yeah I suppose it could be interpreted that way, not needed to play the sport but used. Puck is a good shout though. Maybe we should take clue?

    I'd agree with a clue

    Ok clue.
It is mainly used in a specific sport but can be used in different variations of that.

Hard to give a clue without giving it away :)

    It's a sport that doesn't use a ball...

Archery. Badminton. Unihoc. Frisbee. Boxing. Fencing. Gymnastics. Motor sports. Horsey sports. Fighting sports. Weightlifting...

I can't think of a rubber thing used in any of them . Hardly a tyre? Thatd be found in homes right?

    All just musing

Not any of these, so probably is a puck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Lots of people would have a bike at home

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,404 ✭✭✭✭sKeith

yeah, i do myself, but other store them in garages or sheds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

    Gym/wrestling mats also ruled out.

So it probably is either a puck or bike tyre

puck is ruled out. It's used in unihoc, which was in the list un that post.

Would those not be considered part of the home. Or is home just the house/apartment?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Yeah I’d include them and the garden as something at home

well, if you store bikes in the home, ye store hockey sticks and pucks in the home.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Well question was would you find it in most homes.

I’d say bikes would be more likely to be yes. Pucks no

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,404 ✭✭✭✭sKeith

yeah, it wasn't most canadians home ;)

Any time I played it was with a puck. Given the post was a list of sports with no balls I think puck was implied.

Ah I wouldn’t say you find a bike in the home. You wouldn’t say you find a car in the home

my bike is in my home, my car is in my driveway, i wouldn't call that in my home. if my bike was in my shed, i wouldn't then say my bike was in my home, i'd say my bike is in my shed, which in on my property.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 471 ✭✭PhuckHugh22

Ok last clue. Just to avoid confusion I wasn't aware unihoc used a puck. I played it when I was younger a few times and it was always a plastic ball with holes in it.

    :D
