Search function not working

    Just wondering what's up with the search function at the moment?

    Any search I do takes me to the Advanced Search page instead of delivering the results of the search. This happens whether I search by keyword or by username.
    Even going to my own profile page and clicking Find all posts by Hermy causes the same result - I get taken to the Advanced Search page.

    Is this a bug or an alteration to the search function?

    Searching for "Find all posts by Black_Knight" for example just throws up the general search page with empty fields.

    The requested URL is:
    https://www.boards.ie/search/submit/?user=142165&sort=newest
    But it loads the search page like this guy:
    https://www.boards.ie/search/

    Rather than returning results.
    I've tried incognito, and disabled browser plugins.
    Network tab doesn't show any failed requests.

    I’ve merged two threads on the same topic.

    I notice that Cloudflare is currently active on the site, so I wonder if we are perhaps experiencing some issues?

    When did this start happening for you?

    Seeing Cloudfare page also, when I got past the check the site did not look as it should.
    Gave it a few minutes and last time I came in everything looked as it should.

    The boards search function is useless anyway. I never get what i'm looking for when i use it.

    The best way to search Boards is to use google search with operator for searching within a specific site.

    ie " search function not working site:boards.ie "
