    The "ish" part of this is in relation to science. Sports and religion are definite nos. If you're looking at their Wiki page, there is a mention of science.

    So Male, American/Canadian, Caucasian, Dead, Real, Lived Between 1900-2019, Born between 1900-1929, Surname between L-R, Died at 55+ years(Died post 1955)

    If its only an ish on science surely that rules out inventions and tech?

    Its a little late for exploration as well unless its space and then most of the main players have surnames A-N, Armstrong would fit the bill perfectly otherwise

    Just read Bill Bryson’s One Summwr 1927 (highly recommend as all Bryson writing) which dealt a lot with his famous flight so he was on my mind.
