Nothing they do surprises me anymore. Can’t let them anywhere.
Absolute scum. No time at all for them. Booze filled, coke heads the lot of them.

I made the mistake of being in Amsterdam, and staying in the city centre, on the day this happened.

On the ground it was horrible. There were fans everywhere, they were in bits and just destroying the place.

I would honestly avoid any city that England were playing in.

Hopefully Irish fans/people don't get lumped in with these people in the eyes of the locals in future, they really have a bad rep everywhere.

Plenty of anti German songs as well. 10 German bombers their favourite. I've been there when they were singing that in Germany even and taunting the locals. Then they wonder why the Europeans don't like em.

This stuff has been building up over the last few weeks. Liverpool in Barcelona, Sunderland at Trafalger Square, then the stuff in Madrid.

I aim this at Ireland fans too, going to a foreign country, taking up a square, getting absolutely pissed and leaving the place an absolute tip, is not acceptable behavior just because its a football match.

If members of our own nomadic crime Gangs went somewhere, drank all day &, night and left the place a tip, we'd be fuming. A sporting event is not an excuse.

Reporting the English being scum is like reporting that water is wet.

The Irish clean up after themselves, when there are cameras around and a few Instagram likes to be had.

As a big fan of both the Pope and the IRA, I'm pretty annoyed.

It's in their nature, they are scumbags.

They should be removed from the tournament.

We should not be shocked either, I remember those bastards ripping up the west stand at Lansdowne road. ****.

Isn't it interesting how these clowns weren't running riot in Russia last year. They know where they can get away with acting the maggot and a mere arrest for disorder is the worst they can expect. They'd have been battered with impunity by the Russian police if they tried to kick off and funnily enough they were on their best behavior there with the only flash points being scuffles and in-fighting between other English fans.

Why can't they be nice holligans?

You can be sure the degenerates hone in on a soft spot, and wreak havoc with abandon.

That really all you take from it? It's a bit different really. What about the anti Catholic, anti German, anti Irish songs, anti Muslim songs? They okay?

The lengths people in Ireland go to defend the English is unbelievable.

The fact the English FA, who preach tolerance and equality as much as possible, have never dealt with their disgraceful away fan base says it all. They made a big thing of Montengro fans being racist (rightly so) but give their bigoted fans a free pass.

I don't see the problem here.

"F the Pope and the IRA"

Both have caused and/or covered up awful things over the last number of decades.

Well the pope's not loved here much in post divorce/post abortion Ireland, especially with the low turnout on his recent visit, and the IRA were/are murderous gangsters who, like the catholic church, covered up pedophilia in their ranks, so yeah, f*ck em both.

**** the pope, is anti Catholic sectarian bigotry. The kind of rhetoric loyalists and other anti Irish bigots have revel in.

If the pope or Catholicism is what makes us Irish, we need to have a hard look at how we portray ourselves internationally.

I certainly have no issue with people having a pop at the pope or a terrorist group.
