    Ryan Fraser please

My initial thought was hell no , but then I reckon he is the kind of player Klopp works wonders with , and he probably can be got for ~20M . would at the least be an upgrade on Lalana

De ligt agent trying to get more money out of Barca.

Mino Raiola is his agent, this is just another one of his tricks. As much as I’d love to sign De Ligt, there’s not a talent in the world besides Messi worth putting up with that cretin of an agent.

#LFC will wait on Jürgen Klopp to indicate whether he wants a new contract. FSG would love the manager to extend his terms, but he has previously publicly and privately stated that he'd like a break after 2022.

Improved terms would only be drafted if Jürgen Klopp requested it and he has not yet given any indication of whether he has changed his mind on having a rest period
Given the strong relationship between Klopp and Mike Gordon (who stayed at the manager's house on Sunday), there wouldn't need to be any formal discussions or a lengthy process if he did decide to extend (as was the case when handling his six-year deal)
Important to stress: this doesn't mean that Jürgen Klopp won't extend, or that he will, but ultimately that he has earned the right to and the respect of the owners to decide without any pressure

Perfect for Pep Ljinders to run during this time. Very impressive to date. It’s 3 years away & we all know things can change so much then

    Bit of a buzzkill. :pac:

Dread the day it does happen but would completely respect it if he walked away at the end of his current deal. Hope he does extend it though.

A year career break for Klopp in 2022 and leaving Pep Lijnders in charge for the season, perhaps? If that season goes well Lijnders goes elsewhere for a big management role and Klopp steps back in with a job for life and a happy missus behind him?

Can't wait till Klopp's face is on the Flag and he joins Great Liverpool managers.

The non winning Era of The Roy and The Rodgers is finally over.

You’d kinda hope those at the top at a big club wouldn’t be silly enough to bring in an ex player with little experience.

Tell the missus he will retire 5 years earlier than he has planned but with no breaks ,
He has found the perfect home , the club fits the man and the man fits the club ,

Maybe because we are Liverpool fans we refuse to see it but surely there is not better fit for him, the whole club is built on emotion and passion ,like the man himself

At clubs like Real, Barca and Bayern they expect there teams to win with ease , If not the fans turn on the team they don't see them self's as having a roll in the games ,there just there to be entertained

That not us and that's not Klopp ,Its just not who Liverpool are , we thrive with our backs against the wall, with the odds not in our favour, we want to have to use emotion and passion as a tool for winning football games its what the club is all about , Our fans are part of the success its always been the way , As someone said before the Barca game they have Messi we have Anfield ,

Our club is a perfect match for Jurgen and he is the perfect match for us . I really can't see him fitting in anywhere else as well as he does here,

Football managers age quicker than regular people. He should take a break if this is what he wants to do. I'm ok with whatever he decides.

There’s videos of his initial press conference going around and the job has aged him..no as bad as Markovic but it has aged him.

I think people are getting hung up on the word ‘break’...a break is so long and goodnight and onto the next job after it.

If we did nothing this summer other than tie Klopp down to an extra 3 years, I would consider it to be a very successful window.

Management does not age people unduly - rather it's when they get the big jobs you notice them age cos they've hit middle age. 35-45 hardly a difference but 45-55 is much more obvious.

Win the Super Cup, Charity Shield & World Club Cup before the end of the year and he will look 10 years younger.

Where would he go? He wouldn't put up with Barca or Real and the drama that goes with it. Maybe Atletico or one of the milan clubs, I think that would be really attractive to him rebuilding one of them.
Constantly linked to Bayern but I couldnt see it after his dortmund spell.

Anyway who cares, he ours till atleast 2022, should be enough time to win the PL and another CL. :p

He'll go back to Mainz as a combined youth coach/CEO or take the German NT job.

I've always expected him to take the German job at some stage.

When his contract finishes up he'll be 55, who knows if he'll actually want another full time gig so can wait and take the Germany gig whenever he wants it/looks like he can win a World Cup.

At national team level, many of his best qualities are wasted I feel. He’s the kind of manager that players benefit from being around all the time, not a few times a year and a full month every second year. I’m sure he’d love that job down the line, but I can’t see it working out for him tbh. You need a certain seriousness and ruthless authority for international management, and his strengths lie elsewhere.

Having said that, if Gareth Southgate can do it......:D

I’ve said similar before but hopefully this feeling and achievement is etched into people’s heads when we hit an inevitable rough patch and nobody starts questioning his suitability following an early League cup exit.

Or even when we sign a player and he isn’t rushed into the team.

    Some people have short memories.

I think I'd start to panic if we reached the 5th round of the League Cup. Or the FA Cup quarter finals or something.

Sturridge and Moreno are officially leaving this summer.

So long, farewell. I wish them well.

Can't fault them, never seemed to say a bad word about the club and I'm sure they knew a few weeks ago they would be gone.
