Disgusting treatment of Big Ears ;)

It's an age thing, I know, but I'd have told him to get his legs off it and show a bit of respect. Millennials...

Don't think it's really set in for me yet.

I might still be drunk that's why

Remember the couple of Liverpool posters shouting for Klopp to be replaced by Conte in January because Klopp can’t win things.

    Lol

Don't like Spurs much but Pochettino proved last night that he's a classy guy.

Not that it matters much but I think that Alisson has been the key signing of Klopp's time. I've read plenty say on here and elsewhere that he's a very good keeper but that they can't recall too many world class saves he's made - the point is that his positioning at all times is world class and so he makes so many things look routine. Even last night with the saves he made, none of them were outstanding but it's what he does with the saves - always pushing the ball to safety - that's just as impressive. The man's a colossus.

Ha! There's a few "fans" oddly silent on here after the biggest night in club history for 14 yrs but enough of that, what a glorious feeling this morning.

I feel the semis and long wait took the steam out of the final, but delighted Liverpool won it.
    A phenomenal team effort.
Kudos to Spurs for reaching the final in style also.

City were such a force to be reckoned with, it was amazing Liverpool could take them on in the league.
Hopefully next season is just as exciting for us neutrals / footie fans!

I've supported Liverpool since 2001 when I was 6. Last time we won the CL, I thought it would be the first of many trophies. Instead we went through a pretty dry spell before almost going extinct. Years of mediocrity followed, with a few glimpses and teases of success, just to be ripped away from us (2014 was really tough to go through). A CL final defeat last year and 97 points this year worried me that we'd be one of those "what if" teams (and tbh unless we win the league this team won't go down as one of the great Liverpool sides). But last night definitely signalled one thing for certain: we are back.

I've gone through downs and ups and downs and now ups with Liverpool in the 18 years I've followed them. I know what it means to win the Champions League, lose two games in a season and not win the league, nearly go bust, go through seasons of mid-table finishes, have a league title in our hands and watch it slip away (literally), watch the squad fall apart, players **** us off and lose 6-1 away to Stoke in Gerrard's last game.

This team will win more for sure, and soon it'll break up like all teams do. 10 years from now we could be back in the mid-table and wonder if we'll ever be back. But it's all part of supporting Liverpool which I will do for the rest of my life because I love this club.

The difference between the club building for the future now compared to 2005 is the owners.

FSG are world class owners despite some fans not believing that, they learned from their mistakes and have build a club to compete with the best in the world and to be self sufficient financially without the aid of oil money.

For 2 years I've been dreaming of Henderson lifting up that trophy. Dream realized.

So happy for Klopp, the man is the best coach in the world. What he has done building this team, his vision, his passion. He is Liverpool football club, and I truly believe this is the start of something great with him at the helm.

So much to come from this squad, keeping them together and adding a little every season we will continue to compete at the top.

The game was a poor spectacle but we looked liked champions throughout. Never pushed on but Spurs had absolutely nothing for us.

Who was alive for the previous 5 European Cup victories?

They are the only ones that can celebrate all 6 according to that Everton poster who likes to comment on everything.
