Was the penalty a stonewall penno? Haven’t seen any footage yet.!

Anybody got any links to the goals/highlights yet?

It was stonewall by the letter of the law but the law is a bit unfair to defenders.

Thank you Barcelona, and thank you Phil Coutinho because without you we weren’t singing VVD and Alisson and without VVD and Alisson we weren’t winning this.

That's actually the best description all night. Agree 100%.

Souness was a bit more critical and blamed Sissoko, saying he had no reason to point out space as it was covered.

By my quick check calculations we've been in the European Cup or champions league 23 times, reaching the final roughly 1 in 2.5 times, and winning it better than 1 in 4 times we've been in the thing.

    That's some bloody record.

    Yeah not bad for bottlers

Just seen it. A bit harsh on Sissoko....but why was his hand up in the penalty area. I nearly think Mane saw it & deliberately tried to get a penno. Smart if he did

Also for other poster...handball law change came into effect today, but not for Champions league final.

Lovely finish from Origi too!!! He’s a big game player now:D

Overjoyed to have won. The peno decision wasn't right, it turned us gun shy. Outside of that - we got it because a precedent was set in the world cup final. That hand ball changed everything. Regardless, we have been a far better team than Spurs and deserved it

Alisson had an immense last 20 mins and what I love about his saves is how he pushes the ball out wide away from danger too!

I just rewatched some highlights of last year to show herself the difference our keeper made tonight compared to last year and in one of the clips, he actually makes a decent save but pushes the ball directly out to a Real Madrid player to tap in which was ruled out for offside anyway but even when he was making a decent save, he was pushing it straight back into a dangerous area. We are so lucky to have Alisson and VVD in our defense!

Your analysis is echoed by a Sky Sports article tonight

And yet Leicester have won the premier league.
Enjoy the night but don't jump too far ahead.
    Congrats

    You mean behind, surely?

English champion is a sub-set to European champion.
