It's a pretty dire final in fairness.

Whoever wins it in the next 45mins or more won't care about that though.

    Weird cause they're 0-1 down

They are the only ones that look like scoring now though!

Since when does unnatural = foul?

The ball hits his chest, then his arm. If it hit his arm directly it’s a pen all day long but it doesn’t.

The arm is out to deliberately block the ball. That he does by virtue of a deflection from his chest... still a pen.

They need a ranking system for refs and linesmen. Finals like this should go to only the top most officials in European football

    That doesn't mean upper hand!

    They don't have a choice:pac:

Been a while since Liverpool played that rigid high line defending a freekick.

Spurs have the cutting edge of a butter knife as soon as they get near the penalty area.

Ah, you know what I mean! :p Spurs are all over them, they may be losing (at the moment) but Liverpool have barely done anything since about midway through the first half.

Playing better now but this ^^^. Impotence would be the word.

Spurs have 68% possession and zero shots on target.

Look at every other long range shot or cross during this game, you'll see the defenders with their arms tucked in, because they know the rules. They are paid 100k a week, and have teams or exerts around them advising them on how to defend. They know not to point into the upper theirs of the stand as a cross comes in. Sissoko knows that too. The first 30s of the biggest game of a professional footballers career, he made a stupid mistake. But it's a penalty, with VAR to review it so can't argue that referee had a bad angle. It is what it is,

Can’t get over how poor Liverpool are today. This long ball stuff looks like the tactic for today, maybe Klopp is happy to do what needs to be done to get over the line. Always thought that was his weakness (wouldn’t sacrifice football ethos to win) , be funny if he won a trophy playing this sort of football.

No it’s not. That doesn’t even make sense.

It’s been a great tournament pity the final didn’t match it

Better team losing, hopefully the mistake by Sissoko doesn't cost them.

Game needs a spurs equalizer, preferably via a dodgy penalty decision.

Dele Ali has been poor for Spurs, as has Ericson.

Agree with this. It might open the game up a bit

I felt that if it’s 1-0 with 20 mins to go it really might suit spurs. They have looked more comfortable Coming from behind all season in the CL.

Wouldn’t be surprised if game ends 1-0

    Was Firmino playing?
