    He had his arm up high and as the ball came towards him he brought his arm down and the ball struck it. How could it not be a penalty?

    His arm is pointing to the full back to cover the run. The ball hits his chest and bounces to his arm.

    Are people genuinely blind?? It clearly hits his chest first. I think it does touch his arm after but no way that should be the pen then.

    Have to go to VAR anyway

    In the slow motion replay of the penalty it looks like Lloris moves his hand out of the way of the path of the ball

    Any who has ever played football would say no penalty
    Referee gave it var has no choice once it hits the arm dosnt make it the right decision.

    You may have gotten away with that a few years ago but not now. His arm was elevated and the ball traveled a good distance before it hit his arm. That's a penalty.
