Not sure why Winks is starting either. Stupid from Poch, he has already lost the game before it has started. Moura must be raging.

Also, I'm pretty sure Poch knows the fitness of his players better then we do.

    100%.

Happy for this to be quoted back at me later, but Kane can't be fit and Moura has been on fire.

As we know from fantasy football, Kane usually has the sharpness of a wet sponge after returning from injury. He'd have been better coming on when needed for the morale boost. Now if he doesn't perform he'll have to be taken off.

Yep, I've got this "happy to be there" feelings from Spurs and their fans all week and it's very odd. The line up suggests that MP is thinking about the future and this is going to be a special occasion for the club and they are just here to take part. I would love to see them doing it; a new name of the trophy but I don't think Spurs are up to winning this. Think they'll regret not going for this in years to come. Madrid, Barcelona etc will come back again and Spurs won't get another shot at a EC. I'll go Liverpool 2-0 now.

Match fitness. They can't be match fit after being out for that long. I wish you luck tonight but it's a strange call. You won't have Kane available if it gets to penalties.

What are you talking about? This is Spur's strongest 11...how are we not going for it?

Sorry, if this is the wrong thread for this, but is VM1 the only free to air terrestrial channel showing this game?
    No RTE, BBC or ITV?

It's can't be. Two of the XI can't be match fit.

In fairness you could make the same arugment about Firmino and Salah...

I think most neutrals will agree.

After his heroics in the semi.

It's a big call for Poch. Kane hasn't kicked a ball in how long? He'll be rusty, even if he is really hyped up for it.

He might have done it to keep Kane happy, but if I was Moura I wouldn't be too happy.

Moura couldn't beat a 19 year old Irish rookie who Palace stuck 5 goals past but some reckon he should start over a top 5 in the world striker. Not for me, Bill. I'm with Poch on the Kane call.

Nobody is match fit it’s almost four weeks since anyone played

Hopefully Liverpool can do it tonight. Would be delighted for Klopp especially after last year.

I am pretty sure Moura knows his place and where Kane is in the team.

This is not to keep Kane happy, but to start strongest team possible.

I don't suppose there's a free legal high definition feed of the match in Ireland anywhere is there?

    This too shall pass.

If Kane is fit he starts - which is obviously what has happened.

Moura will be more of an impact player than Kane would be i'd say too, so that might have been another consideration.

Spurs players look nervous whilst pool players are relaxed in this warm up.

Barcelona and Bayern fans will also be shouting for Spurs, as those 2 clubs wont want liverpool going ahead in the total trophies winners list

Klopp looked pretty nervous in the interview.

It's on the BT sports YouTube channel with a VPN. Not illegal to use a VPN as far as I know. Watched the Europa League final in full HD on it and wss flawless

I doubt they will care, Barca's first win wasn't until 92

Well that's the most biased pre-match show I've ever seen on Virgin. Loads of clips of how great Liverpool are followed by clips of how **** Spurs are.

Think the media en masse wants Liverpool to win. YNWA, uggh, feel dirty listening to it.

most likely the media is pro liverpool, but across forums and other sites it seems very very clear many want spurs to win and they will always resent liverpool for their history in europe, both on and off the pitch

People always want the underdog or the small guy to win.
