Dithering Dave - Help

After many, many years dithering I have finally narrowed down my search to two cars.

Tiguan

Now I can’t decide which one to plump for! Both of them tick all of the boxes but the only thing putting me off the Octavia is badge snobbery! I recently had a Tiguan for hire and loved it but it just seemed a bit dull in terms of the driving experience.

If you had the choice what would you choose?

I'll take a look.

BMW and reliability put me off, timing chain, ERG recall etc.

Wonder would I find anything in the same price bracket........

If I was childless & 10 years younger I'd be all over that Golf!

Trying to find the right mix between driving experience/practicality/cost.

Currently driving a 1.6 Petrol Focus which is quite thirsty & the tax is high so looking for a diesel.
