Alternative to VLC on android phone?

Anyone know any chromecast enabled video player apps that have broad support for multiple video and audio codecs like VLC but that also allow selecting which embedded audio track and embedded subtitle track to be played where the video file contains multiple audio or subtitle tracks. Im willing to pay for it but looking for help identifying any such apps. I've downloaded and bought most of the video player apps in the store but all seem to be missing some functionality. VLC works for most things but it doesnt seem to be the most stable for me when casting to TV from my phone.
