How long does a company have to invoice you?

    We had a bit of an issue with a company supplying windows to us and have disputed most of the work done as there was extensive damage caused.

    We have contacted them to try bring an end to the matter but are just wondering how long they have to legally invoice us?

    The statute of a debt is 6 years, so technically that may be how long they have to invoice you. Did you get a quote/contract when ordering?

    We did but its not laid out in the T&Cs.

    Its a messy affair anyways but we just want to move on from it asap - but they are not responding to any contact that has been made

    What was the damage. Was it to the windows , patching after install or damage to something not connected to the windows
