Hi folks, does anyone on here own an i30n? Looking to ask some questions regarding ownership experience as I'm considering ordering one.

Approach a Main dealer that already has one in stock and expect a healthy discount.

Why would you expect a discount? I think they sell ok for what they are.

I do think I remember reading that Hyundai dont offer PCP on them, only HP, if you are looking at financing.

MarkN who post here has reviewed one for his YouTube channel.
Give him a shout for opinion.

I saw lots of them on a recent trip to the Nurburgring. Loads of them there. Very nice. Great pops and crackles from the exhausts from the many that whizzed by me. They seemed to have a fair amount of credibility too among the ‘Ring rental companies etc.

Problem is, Irish Hyundai dealers are unlikely to be all that interested in telling you much about them never mind selling them.

Not worried about hire purchase or PCP rates as I'll be purchasing outright, however I do have a trade in so I'm not expecting any major discounts. Ideally looking to purchase one that is new with zero mileage as I would imagine any ex demo models will all have been driven pretty hard already. I'll contact MarkN. Thanks

Go for it. Although if you wait the i30n fastback is supposed to be a little bit better again but its really down to preference and which you prefer. I seen one in red and it looked and sounded great.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Look for serious discount on an N,Because of simple economics.

1.they're a Hyundai with no supply constraints.
2.and like it or not won't be worth a fraction of a Golf GTI or other established hot hatches, secondhand, so first time owners need serious encouragement to overcome this inertia and dealers will be well incentivised with bigger margin to cut.
3.they're also in low demand and dealers are obliged to sell a few each so cars outnumber customers, and more than likely put reluctantly as demos or preregistration cars, with subsequent effect on pricing.
    4. The trade ins on these will also be "undesirable" so somebody without a trade in will get the benefit of this in discount.
    5. The list price is too high.

Only my opinion , you don't have to agree.
