2011 1.5 gt line estate 195k km €5000 seems ok value, is there anything I need to look out for apart from regular service/timing belt change etc?

Look up "Honest John" he gives reviews about problems/ recalls ,real MPG etc,I did as I'm looking at an automatic 1.2 Renault ,turns out there's a host of problems on that particular car I'm interested in( 2014 model) so definitely worth a gander

    Its Megane.

Renault make good diesels but the car is 8 years old. I would get someone who knows a lot about cars to check it over before you buy it.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

They're a solid car. Not much to go wrong. Make sure the keys are both working and undamaged.

Yeah, they're rock solid, no long term issues with them and relatively easy on the likes of tyres etc.

Oil changes with right spec oil is important, 24 month intervals are too long so make sure history checks out, call Renault if in doubt.

Check AC and heating work, we had a few issues with ours.

As ever check all window regs, but by now this has been pretty much resolved.

As mentioned, check both keys, but non working keys are usually easily fixed now to.

1.5 dci is a rock solid engine.
