Win Key - the Keyboard Windows Key

Recently I installed a program called Clover
    https://clover.en.uptodown.com/windows

It adds multiple tabs to your windows explorer.

Well for one reason or another I uninstalled the program.
However after that my Windows Key on my keyboard does not work.
    So the shortcuts like

    WIN+R for Run
    WIN+E For Explorer
    etc.
    no longer work.

A USB Keyboard has the same problem however the OSK - On Screen Keyboard allows them to work fine.

I uninstalled the keyboard driver and rebooted, allowed it to re-install but still no joy.

    Any ideas please ?

Try system restore from before the install.

Much easier than trying to figure out what the installer program did.

Indeed but I have no restore points that are valid - All were made after that install unfortunately

It seems to have altered the registry and I have searched but can not find how to restore the use of the key.
