Boot mounted bike rack for a 181 Hyundai Tucson

Recently bought a 181 Hyundai Tucson. Went to my local Halfords to buy a boot mounted bike rack - to carry 3 bikes. They told me it’s not possible to use a boot mounted rack on this car. I don’t know if we would have bought this car if I had known this was the case! I don’t need or want the expense of getting a tow bar…

They told me it’s not possible to use a boot mounted rack on this car. I don’t know if we would have bought this car if I had known this was the case!

I don’t need or want the expense of getting a tow bar fitted and buying a tow bar mounted rack. Also, I don’t want to put them on the roof.

By any chance does anyone here have any ‘experience’ of my issue.
