How many cars can an individual import from the UK per year?

I have heard an individual is restricted to 1 vehicle per year however i cannot find out anything about this.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

No limit. But its done through the individuals PPS. So it would be flagged if it goes over a certain amount, I've heard it's flagged after 3 cars but I'm not 100%sure of that figure.

You are paying the VRT on them, I can't see any issue if you imported 500 cars in a year, just make sure you declare any profit should you make any.

i had herd 4 cars a year.. by someone who had tax man come down hard on them.

Adding to say, i know someone who brings in a few a year as a side for extra cash and the local revenue officer called to him enquiring about it and asking him to register as a TAN holder. That was a few years back, he's still bringing them in to date (between 3-6 cars a year)

Importing 1 or 2 could probably be argued for as personal use. Where you hit 5,6,7 you are clearly trading so Revenue will want income tax.
