is there anyone in ireland that repairs renault electric park brake cables

yes, the park brake cable on one side is not working motor is fine, just the cable needs to be replaced

You can get them from Renault or ebay and any competent mechanic would be able to replace them.

What year/model is it?

2007 Grand Scenic, had it in the garage yesterday he said would be an expensive job could be E600 for the cables

Garage is quoting for a complete handbrake module with cables.

cable repair kits can be got on ebay:
