cerrone for me though it'll be close, might be a pts win for either possibly

swanson is due a win, think he might shade this one if he doesn't get subbed

how brunson gets on is anyones guess, probably has the beating of elias if he fights a smart fight but elias to nick it on pts for me especially if brunson goes out swinging

Those 6 fights on the main card are as a whole the most closely matched I've probably ever seen, couldn't be confident of any of them and the odds reflect this with the biggest underdog only 6/4

bellator on channel 5 right now also, started at 10 too

the hw division won't have too much to worry about there anyway

Gonna give this a miss live because of how bad the first two fights were. Good luck mailburner.

Some good sub defence on display tonight but overall not a lot to get excited about

Not seeing anything upcoming saving this prelim card either

Prepolec is one tough lad, took everything taleb threw at him and still kept on coming

Great performance on a week's notice against bigger guy

wasn't aware he was fighting since 2008, losing to kevin lee 6 years ago, never been knocked out either I see...

Macy Chiasson walking in to Für Elise and roaring into the camera was amazing.

That was frightining by Walt Harris

tough introduction to the ufc for spivak there, 9/0 all finishes with 8 in the first round up till that.
It's all uphill from here on in, much higher calibre opponent there no doubt.

Did treble with Merab, Brunson and Ragin Al for some interest.

Mine is elias, cerrone and Swanson

Cerrone being my main bet, sub also

    Burgos looks massive
    Over confident also
    C'mon cub

close enough fight but 30/27 swanson

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,884 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

I have gone for Al !

I think Cowboy looked very tired after the cut.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,884 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

Brunson deserved that, the styles in that fight did not make good watching.

Great performance by cerrone, rarely looked in trouble there

No I should have never doubted him...

Cowboy looked two weight divisions above Raging Al.

    Men against boys stuff.

Is Elias the worst striker in the UFC?

I'm outa shape and was never up to much, but I think I'm a better striker than him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,576 ✭✭✭Brussels Sprout

Not sure I've ever seen a fight given as a 30-27 to the different fighters by two judges before.

    Stinker of a card.

Even the Cub fight was boring and that's something that never happens.

god no, there's much worse than Elias and it's hard to see anyone finishing the guy despite his weaknesses.
All of the above have fewer ko victories and most are more
    well known.

A few top level guys aren't much better

Maia hasn't ko'd anyone since 2009 and while his striking has improved he never looks like finishing anyone bar by sub.
Askren for me the worst striker in the ufc since pendred possibly (no offence folks :p)
    corey anderson
colby covington one ko in 15 fights
ryan laflare on ko victory in 9 years, for me just behind askren in the striking department
    Oleynik

I won't even start with the likes of jon fitch, last weeks performance was
a sight to behold, did nothing for 25 mins and nearly became champ.
It may have been the worst championship fight of all time or very close.

There's so many more including the likes of sarah mc mann, mieshas striking
    was pretty poor also.

The worst striker I've seen recently in the UFC is your man (Ryan?) Benoit. Jesus he's woefully bad. I'd fancy myself to easily spank him in an ammy boxing match and I'm shiiiiiiiite.

Pendred fists of fury is up there

Not to be sexist but most of the women are terrible strikers. The ones that can hit well are the exceptions.

Warning (not be watched if you're sensititive to terrible form): https://streamable.com/h07fa

Lack of KO power doesn't make a bad striker.

Sevchenko , Joanna, Holly, Amanda unbelievable on the feet to name a few
