Check engine light still on after fixing problem

I had a faulty ignition coil that caused spluttering at the start and ended up running on only 3 cylinders.
I put in a new coil today which fixed my problem but the yellow check engine light is still on.

I didn't put in a toyota part(Denso),I put in an Elta part.
Would 3 Denso coils and 1 Elat coil cause confusion with the cars computer?
Is there any other reason for the light to stay on with the car running smoothly?

The light needs to be turned off, which is done by resetting the error code.

What type of toyota and year?
Older ones disconnect the battery for 15 minutes

A 10 euro Bluetooth OBDII reader from Amazon will do it.

06 corolla 1.4...I will try that tomorrow as I disconnected it before without any issue

Pull the efi fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet for 10 seconds. That’ll clear any faults.

Coil replacement would clear the fault related to it after a while. For your own peace of mind I'd recommend to get codes read.
