Headphones to SmartTV with no Audio Jack?

    Hi,

    Not sure if this is in the right forum but I'm trying to figure out a way to listen to headphones on my LG 4300 smart TV.... but unfortunately there is no audio jack in the back of the tv.

    Anyone know of an adaptor for me to overcome this? Or another way of being able to achieve this?

    I use my Sony 1000XM3's over Bluetooth with my LG TV so i would say any Bluetooth headphone's should work.

    Thanks, have them too but trying to explain bluetooth to the parents isn't worth it haha.

    It's a connection for wired headphones that I'm looking for.

    Does your TV have an optical output?
    For digital sound, locate the optical digital output or HDMI OUT port. Locate an unused analog audio input on your stereo receiver or amplifier.

    If there is possibly could get some sort of adapter to covert to analog (audio jack).





    ^^^ Google a bit more and you may get a HDMI adapter solution?

    Or if your TV has RCA ports? <<< OUT and not in!

    It maybe easier and cheaper to get an adapter for that.
