Is there an obvious reason why a northern dealer would sell a spotless low milage 2014 car into an auction house in the Republic of Ireland rather than sell it on their own forecourt? I think the reason is obvious enough (issue with car) but i'm curious to know what everyone else thinks.

He might want to flip it fast and live in an area where such a car might take a long time to sell, for example a luxury £50k plus car trying to sell in remote area.

Do a history check first if you are planning on bidding.
