Hi I am looking to get an e46 m3, I can’t find a decent one in Ireland so I was going to import one from the uk.

The vet calculator or the revenue website does not have an e46 m3 i also rang revenue and they will not give quotes over the phone only when the car arrives at port

I was wondering does anyone know roughly how much it would cost?

    Car would be roughly
    2003
    Convertible
    Roughly 75k miles

I would estimate €4500, but it could be anything

The definitely used to have it. Looks the the feckers are messing with the site. Probably moving stuff to classic or collectors statistic.

You could pick a similar year make model and transmission of an Irish car stick the reg into cartell and get the statistical code from there.

Once you have that you punch the statistical code into revenue calculator.

The alternative option would be to write to the vrt office requesting statistical codes for all M3 variants for that year.

It's not secret information. They just aren't providing it well

Can you get a stat code from cartell?

Is that on the paid check?

Stat codes are deleted a lot, sometimes dump codes are used and sometimes they're re-used for different codes.

I'll have a look tomorrow, but most likely being 2003 it won't give a price and may likely end up going for manual valuation if you were to bring the car in (a lot over 10 years old go for valuation)

E46 M3s have been gone off the standard system for a long time, needs to be assessed.
