    Liverpool the better side for 75 mins. Let down by big players at crucial moments and ran out of steam. They’ll pick Liverpool off at Anfield. Tie over.

    Could have been 5-0 to Barca.

    Messi is the greatest player of all time.

    That being said, I thought VVD was weak for both goals. Keeper might also have gotten a hand to the ball considering the free kick was 35 yards out.

    A brilliant game. Liverpool deserved a draw out of that, but instead the greatest player i have seen play took over. He was so quiet really before his goal, but that's his brilliance. He's utterly utterly amazing.

    Should have been 4 or 5 in the end.

    Absolutely delighted to see that FK go in, he had no right to score from that distance but that's why he's far and beyond the greatest to ever put on a pair of boots.

    Any goal in Anfield for Barca and this game is over.

    Looked the better side at 1-0 until that very fortunate second but Liverpool were never clinical enough in the final third and Robertson picked a really bad match to have an off-day.

    Superb game of football. Barca should have scored 6 or 7 but Liverpool wasted so many chances also. Could have been 5-2 easily.

    Hopefully Barca vs Ajax will be a proper final.

    Liverpool were unlucky to be 3 0 at the end they deserved more but if Barca were more clinical the 2nd leg isn't even in doubt.

    Liverpool were the better team for about 70 minutes. They failed to take their chances, Mane, Milner, Salah, which were costly. The game was wide open towards the end as Liverpool chased the game. Had they taken them then the ending would have been different. And a special Messi free kick that probably nobody else could score.

    How was Mane not sent off? I thought if you raise your hands to an opponent's face it's an automatic red? VAR doesn't flag that up?

    Scoreline looked flattering after the free but by the end it didn't feel that way as Barca really should have put it to bed. Dembele very poor with his finishing. Wonder if that will come back to haunt them as Roma managed a 3-0 home win against them last season let's remember. You'd have to fancy Barca to see it through but I wouldn't say it's completely finished as it stands.

    Agreed, 3-0 is bigtime flattering but that Messi free kick was good enough to win any game.
    Shame he was whinging at the ref all game long and rolling around when someone breathed near him to take the shine off it but barca or liverpool haters wont care.
