Hi guys,

Do I have a leg to stand on or can anyone suggest next steps?

Ring your bank and they’ll reverse the direct debit.

Block the DD and request a reverse under SEPA rules to get the money back. Presumably if they have said they will refund they are not making any claim to have a valid contract and that should be the end of it
