Hi everyone I was looking at a citroen berlingo recently in main dealers a 2017 and 2018 he said that the 2017 has a euro 5 bluehdi and the 2018 had a euro 6 bluehdi he said it is worth the upgrade to the new euro 6 engine just curious as to know what is the difference since there both bluehdi ? Do anyone know if they are economical as they say . Also has anyone had any bad experience with bluehdi engines or are they ok

I presume the BlueHDI is cleaner and has lower emissions through using AdBlue additive, etc. Most newer Euro6 diesel cars take AdBlue fuel additive which is either a separate fuel tank that needs to be topped up regularly or added to the existing diesel fuel tank.
