Workplace GDPR Issue

Hi All,

I recently have been the subject of a workplace investigation where a manager whom I do not know working for a third party customer made a false allegation against me. He said that the complaint originated from information provided by a delivery driver who was never identified or interviewed/ statement obtained as part of the investigation by my Employer.


The manager of third party company claims in the investigation report that my name was provided by his driver, and he passed this information verbally to an individual working for my Employer. Some 2 months later she requested him to make the complaint in writing at which point he claims he 'couldn't remember my name, so he asked with her'

As there is no evidence that any driver ever made an allegation against me, and at the point where the Manager needed to ask who to name on the complaint, he obviously didn't know my name, my name was then provided by an individual in my company, did she commit a data breach by providing my name?

The investigation process cleared me of any wrong doing as there was no evidence to suggest otherwise, but I would like to clarify if a data breach was committed by my Employer.
