Looking for some advice. Going to buy a new SUV/Crossover. Mostly used for city driving etc so I was looking at the new Rav4 hybrid. Really like it after a test drive. The boot etc is quite big...Nice to drive. Going for the Luna spec.

Just wondering what other options would be available? I am buying via PCP as it suits my requirements so low interest rate would be a huge plus.

I think the RAV4 is going to be the safest option you can get in terms of reliability. Any of the turbocharged petrols or diesels won’t come near it in that respect. If you’re on PCP and flipping it for something else after 3 year this may not be a factor. If you’re thinking of a long term motor then it makes huge amounts of sense to go hybrid.

The RAV4 isn’t exactly cheap though, but I still think it’s an excellent choice especially for city driving.

It is not, I added one or two extra's and it is starting at 40k.

Hard to swallow when the likes of a mid range Sportage with leather and stuff is €33k.

The Peugeot 3008 hybrid might be worth a look
