Vw passat wind screen wiper fault

I recently got a wind screen wiper fault on a 15 passat. The wiper sometimes fails to start or it might start for no reason. Thats not the only problem that turn up when this light pops on. My indicators and horn stop working. Only this time last year i had an air bag fault and no buttons on the steering wheel would work…

I recently got a wind screen wiper fault on a 15 passat. The wiper sometimes fails to start or it might start for no reason. Thats not the only problem that turn up when this light pops on. My indicators and horn stop working. Only this time last year i had an air bag fault and no buttons on the steering wheel would work so i had to get a clock spring replaced. I hope im not going down that road again. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Totally uneducated guess, but sounds like it could be related to the steering module under the steering column.

Might be miles off with that of course.
