One game at a ****ing time. Salah you glorious glorious human.

    Yup.

Salah is not getting near enough praise for what he did there.

Perceived as not scoring enough. Pressure on him, as star man, to deliver when it matters. Picks it up before halfway, and there was not a thing in his mind other than taking it upon himself and scoring.

    He wanted the pressure.
He wanted the glory, but was willing, again, to take any criticisms that came his way.

And it was a fúcking glorious finish. He hits it so fúcking early - barely out of his feet and he smashes it off the post.

Wondrous. Cojones the size of St Mary's.

Should do wonders for his confidence. Billy big balls when it counted

Also, since we're going in to such fine detail, apparently 63% more of Chelsea players live in two-storey houses than our lads, thus facing those gruelling upstairs/downstairs trips that almost 2/3 of our squad will be able to avoid in their custom-designed bungalows. Those Chelsea boys will be knackered when they get to Anfield.

    :D:D:D

I did think factoring in bus trips etc.... was taking the piss a little bit alright!

I can't stand that player, I don't know why i dislike him so much but he just comes across like a little sh*t.

A certain type of personality ends up at City, a certain type ends up at Liverpool, and they are complete opposites.

Nearly glad there is no league game until tomorrow week. The Champions League will be a welcome diversion from the tension.

A bit ott :p i thought the length of time he had on the ball would affect him. Very easy to get indecisive. Only 5 games left.
    City are under pressure now!

lots of salty tears around but not much on how well played for the last 70mins of that game I thought we were excellent. Thought Keita was very good he just needs to move the ball faster

    Care to elaborate?

City away to Palace next (in the league). Their toughest league game for a while. Hoping Palace can at least get to half time without conceding. Would put City under great pressure.

My bro in law to me this morning (United fan) :

"I'd rather us get relegated than you winning the league"

Whereas I spoke to another United fan last weekend who thinks we deserve it, world's gone mad at the thoughts of us winning it... :)

Already posted? It's a good 'un. Perfect day to enjoy it. 3 points in the bag and hopefully watch City tire themselves out somehow against a very limited Brighton. Regardless, top of the league! Two lads giving each other a full-on smack on the lips in the aftermath of our winner is precious.

Harry Wilson just rifled in a left footer goal for Derby.

Lads I think we need a full back, wing back, mid, and a striker.

    Sorry wrong thread.

Watched highlights there. I'd say there might be a few bruised ribs in the squad after Henderson's celebration. So much passion. Delighted for him. He gets so much stick for doing what he is obviously being told. Great player, all heart and loads of talent.

    Haters gonna hate.

There is a long list of players who went there for money, players who were wanted by their clubs, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs,United, but they absolutely refuse to stay, refused to sign contracts and instead went to City.
Then you have a player like VVD, who refused City, and insisted he wanted to play for Liverpool, even for less money.

Tevez and Sterling a perfect example of the type of personality that signs for City, both at huge clubs like Liverpool and United, both offered contracts, both threw their teddy and had a temper tantrum to get their one dollar more at City.

I think if Sterling has stayed at Liverpool he'd have contributed enough to have possibly made a difference in the multiple chances for silverware we've had since he left and he'd have played in multiple European finals.
Yes he has his money and his league medals, but he'll be forgotten once City get bored with him and sign the next star.

Interesting. I don't disagree that money was probably a factor. But you're failing to acknowledge the increased likelihood of trophies by going to City.

"Forgotten once City get bored and sign the next star" Completely disagree with if he continues his form for many years. Like Silva/Aguero.

If it was just money why not just go to China? By your logic nobody should ever leave United or Liverpool if the club want them.

Richarlison's agent has confirmed he was taking to Klopp however it wasn't about Richarlison so I wonder does he manage any Brazilian prodigy's.

Also Fekir's soon to be former agent who Fekir will be dumping next week when their contract expires is now saying there was more to the transfer not happening than the knee injury which was only part of the reason Liverpool pulled out of the deal.

Definitely still think there is more to this story tbh and it's going to come out if Fekir sacks your man....

Some players like Gerrard or Le Tissier or Maldini for what ever reason had the type of personality that kept them at their clubs for their entire careers, regardless of the fact they were offered big moves and huge money. They go down in football history, and stay forever in the clubs history, then you have guys chasing that one dollar more, different mind set.
Liverpool tend to buy players young, or bring them through the youth system, treating them right and rewarding their progression on going. We got Coutinho cheap and young, but kept upgrading his contract, paying him more and more as he progressed.
SOme just want the money now ! City will indulge them.

I swear this Fekir story has become such a bore.

Was hoping Burnley wouldn’t win today. Would prefer them battling for points by the time they meet City. 8 points clear of Cardiff now. Good chance they’ll be practically safe by the time they play City.
