    I like that team.

Love the look of that team, not sure Keita’s heart will be in it though. I could see the Saints midfield bypassing him easily enough.

That's been the least of our worries with him so far though... it's in the attacking third i've been disappointed with him. Defensively, he's been fairly solid for the most part, runs his socks off and breaks things up fairly effectively.

Great looking footballing side. If it clicks it should really work. Not sure if this midfield has played before.

    Soton are playing 3-5-2

Who wants to join me in over-analysing Keita every time he chests the ball

Jurgen listening to me, good man.

Would be nice for Keita to get his first goal for us tonight.

I thought Gini would get a rest ahead of Porto. He's surely the CM who's played the most this season for us?

Is Lallana injured AGAIN? Christ, he's a good player but he'll never stay fit long enough to show it.
I'm guessing its 'cos Millie and Hendo are on the bench. Nice to see big Virg get the armband.

Massive call. It's now or never for Keita!

Maybe Lallana is nailed on for Porto.

Isn't it really ironic that Keita is starting now :pac:

Milner, Henderson & Lallana rested for the Champions League.

Anyone able to recommend a bar in Cork city that will be showing tonight's game? Didn't realise that there was a Munster match on and a few places seem to be showing that instead.

soho or the woolshed will definitely be showing it.. as will cashmans

Adam Lallana ruled out of the squad tonight due to a minor muscle problem. #LFC

Lallana has a minor muscle injury so not rested, he's injured, again.

As happy as I am with this midfield today I think it probably means we'll see the midfield of doom against Porto.

Has this 3 played together before, this is too much of a change for me, the potential for no fluency is there. Too much of a risk for me. Sound headed Henderson with Gini and Fab ahead would be enough of a change for me.

Just don't give any free kicks away within Ward Prowse range.

Definitely have played together alright, can't remember the games, but I definitely remember being excited to see our entirely-foreign midfield lineup earlier this season.

We have no more 3pm Saturday games left in season, weird. All Friday's and Sundays from here on in.

You'd hope Gini, Fab and Keita are more nimble and quicker passes of the ball than Henderson and Milner and should be able to beat the Southampton press should they press.

In the league at least they've played together for:

    3-0 vs Bournemouth
    3-1 vs United
    4-0 vs Bournemouth

100% win rate so, grand job :)

I presume there's a backstory to it, like its a shared joke for some reason, but i've no idea of the context.

When was the last time we wore the Ribenas? I almost forgot about them.
