So Finn is bringing out the Demon for Lashley and the IC title, but didn't against Brock for the Universal. That makes sense.

He can put as much makeup as he wants on but hes still a 5 ft 8, 11 stone bloke from Bray.

Oh interesting heel turn here by The Nal. Let’s see how this plays out.

That backstage stuff with the Becky, Ronda and Charlotte was class. Was Ronda bleeding from the mouth after that knee from Charlotte? Looked stiff enough.

    Completely no sold it.

Good enough for the third wheel.

The Demon is better as an entrance and spectacle. Don't try to actually do promos with it.

You think they would've learned that after the pumpkin face debacle.

Ah it wasn't really a promo though. He didn't speak as the Demon.

I thought it was better than usual Finn:

    Flick Collar.

    Smile a lot.

    Flick Collar.

    Smile a lot.

It wasn't awesome or anything but I liked the switch as he finished speaking tbh.

But lol. We're supposed to think broken down Kurt has any chance against Baron Corbin who beat a much more athletic, if similar in age to Angle - Rey Mysterio :/

    Ok then.

Honestly kurt is moving so bad i hope its just a squash match he hits all his big moves and goes into retirement and corbin is perfect opponent for that squash

i just hope to god hes not thinking of a moonsault

Who the hell made the decision to end the show like that, absolute joke.

I'm still holding out for a swerve with Corbin and Angle cause that match isn't up to much.
The cop brawl was outstanding, ridiculously over the top but a lot of fun.
Demon promo, could have done without that. It looked pretty dopey and cheesy. Just have the demon show-up unannounced it's much cooler that way. Sticking your tongue out while covered in CGI smoke isn't very cool.

Also as someone said, yes; definitely heard some boos for Roman, reckon as soon as they put him near the title again we'll be back to booing him.

The sad fact is that Angle is finished, and while everyone might think Cena/Angle would be a more fitting farewell, the reality is I think a match that lasts longer than 30 seconds will be awful. Angle has struggled against Styles, Joe, Gable...great wrestlers who are active. Cena hasn't wrestled in ages, never was the greatest to carry someone....the match would be awful.

Corbin signals, to me, that we're talking a final 30 second squash, followed by a final show of respect from the crowd. Corbin is the type of heel that won't suffer from a quick loss at all. Angle slam, a german or two, Ankle lock and Corbin taps. That's, sadly, about all he's up to anymore. :/

Loved the backstage brawl, and the absurdity of it. The idiot cops, the moment Becky and Ronda are alone, Ronda randomly crashing the car. THAT'S pro-wrestling to me.

Watching the brawl again. There are so many funny things in it. Becky shouting "This again?" when being arrested. Her doing this...

Ronda crashing the car while handcuffed and then saying "I didn't do anything!" afterwards. Charlotte's knee was brutal too. Loved it, brilliant segment.

You're absolutely right but it's a pretty depressing match to end it on, at least give Angle a decent opponent even if the match isn't up to match, Baron Corbin as his final match is a damp squib.

Regardless ending with that angle was a dopey move, the backstage brawl teasing the main event would have been better placed at the end.

The annoying part for me is the whole Angle stuff was given two segments when only one was really required.

They could have done the Angle speech, Corbin interruption into the match with Rey and left it at that earlier in the show. Quite why they had to go backstage and wait for their match - unless Corbin wanted to change into another shirt and pants or something - is just ridiculous.

Would have been better to end on the backstage brawl tbh. The 'updates' following the 'arrests' were basically - Ronda, Becky and Charlotte were at the police station.
Well... no fcuking **** Sherlock Cole.

Will someone tell Corbin too wear proper wrestling attire and not look like hes a bar man

Pretty rubbish enough Raw thought the brawl was good tho actually laughed out loud during it especially when Rhonda and becky ended up in the same car and charlottes knee to rhondas face was great.

Pretty poor go home show. The idea that I'm meant to believe Becky Lynch has been arrested twice in a month just makes me treat it like a joke. Just lazy.
Batista's promo was probably the only interesting one since he dragged Flair around like luggage but it's lazy to sell a match on "Hunter, kiss my ass". I would have thought with his supposed last run Batista would have been more motivated to do more.
Angle I dont want to see him wrestle. At this stage I just hope he takes care of himself after he retires cause I'd be lying if I said I wasnt worried about his health when I look at him.
The World, IC & maybe Tag Title matches aren't ones I'd have high hopes for. With Rollins cutting another generic face promo, Balor hissing?? in smoke & the Revival act in general I keep having to tell myself this is Mania season. Looking at the card it's very much quantity over quality & the product usually dips soon after this show.

Cole made a good point saying he didn't know what the charges would be. I mean will they be charged with fighting in a wrestling ring?

Speaking of Cole, he had some poor timing when Renee suggested the SNL guys take a sick day and Cole replied with "There is no sick in WWE". Probably not the best thing to say after that John Oliver bit.

Gable was lucky in his match. Tucker nearly dropped him on his head but he managed to roll into it.

As others have said, I don't understand why they ended with that segment. "How do we sell Mania to anyone on the fence? Let's close with a broken man giving the ankle lock to a guy people don't care about"

Have to question the cars the cops were using. No divider between front and back seats?

Talking to people a lot of seem to be looking forward to the show from a wrestling perspective but for me this has been woefully built. Ended up accepting an interview for Monday because I honestly don't think I'll be arsed watching it live. Interest is slowly ebbing to non existent.

So round 3 the raw after mania

Really not sure what could happen as from previous years the NXT call ups were quite poor and only felt cool cause of the loud crowd

Will we see a shock title change ??

    Brock going on a rampage

The return of Sami Zayn and Bray Wyatt

Hijacking, bizzaro-world, fans going into business for themselves, smarks, marks and beachballs.

Oh and some debuts and other wrestling stuff :pac:

Even though he's strictly Smackdown, Kofi will surely pop in for an appearance. The crowd will be rabid for him.

Leave him for Smackdown the rabid crowd will still be there.

The NXT-call ups thing has been somewhat ruined by the fact that they called up 6 people and have barely used any of them (Lars was teased and hasn't shown up, reckon he could appear).

Not to mention that Black and Ricochet are also now up and were unceremoniously called up out of nowhere.

The only ones you could bring up with any impact from NXT would be TUE. If there was two other outliers maybe you could see Pete Dunne and Buddy Murphy come to main roster but also seems unlikely. We should also remember that next week was billed as an 'International Superstar Shake-up' so maybe they can hold off a bit till then.

I'm guessing it will mostly be people returning from the bench; Sami Zayn? Bray Wyatt? Authors of Pain? Maybe some title changes, could see the tag titles being dropped with possibly someone taking Becky's belt but could be a stretch.

Hopefully the Undisputed Era get called up, that would be great. The likes of Riddle and War Raiders I think it's way too early to bring up, never know with WWE though.
