Does anyone know the exact comments Warnock made ? I ask because Blackpool where fined for feilding a weakend team in the Prem if Warnocok has said what some are making out surely the same can happen to Cardiff

He said he is probably going to play the 23'S against city so theyll be fresh for the next game. Im sure the interview is on sky by now.

Spurs have 1pt from a possible 15 in last 5 games. Huddersfield are in better form. Crazy how they fell apart even at the sniff of a title chance, now that is bottling it !!
Liverpool on the other hand are chipping away like we were early in the season, City can win 11 on the bounce and still be looking up the table to find us!

Origi did well to win the corner.

He really has impressed when he has been used as a late sub.

We could do a lot worse than keeping him and giving him a new contract if he wants to stay.

People keep saying this but I don't really see it tbh.

I think its because he is our best attacking option from the bench ,
Not really good himself but gets about way bteer than Studge and Shaq isnt getting near the team currently ,
I like Origi but himself and Studridge need to be moved on amd replaced in the summer ,

Need back up GK,LB, RB , and Striker this summer , Then maybe a starting midfeilder

I can't understand the Shaqiri thing tbh.

I've faith in Klopp even when he does things I don't understand, like never play Shaq when we need a goal or give Sturridge minutes if a game is done.

    Origi has been alright.

Nothing that would convince me that we don't need a better option.

He's still. Some distance back from where he was four or five years ago. I'm not sure he'll ever be.

    Trent going forward is unreal.

Wand of a right foot. Should have been on that free kick.

Defensively he is good but can make improvements. Best RB in the league for me now.

Thought he'd a tough enough game tbh.

Moura have him alot of hassle and he was arguably wrong side for the spurs goal.

Wan-Bissaka is hands down the best right back in the league.

Signing one of Wan-Bissaka, Sessegnon and Chilwell would be pretty good. Along with Deee lite and Kevin Volland if Werner is off to Bayern.

I'm pretty happy with gomez and TAA as options with Clyne coming back tbh.

Clyne will never be back, other than to clear his locker. We can be practically certain of that.

Can't see clyne ever playing for Liverpool again

Klopp must rotate squad in coming weeks, too many games in short spaces.

    Very good player. Better defensively.

    But not great going forward.

We have max 10 games in bout 6 weeks, they have had plenty of breaks since January, what's will all this resting?

    After TAA?

I like Wan-Bissaka, but I don't know what he'd be like if responsible for the same level of attacking contribution as TAA and Robertson are in our side.

His role with Palace would be far different to the average game at FB for a Liverpool player.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he could go on and be equally as good offensively as he is defensively (like Robertson), but I don't watch enough of him to say that confidently at the moment tbh. Clyne looked decent offensively at Southampton before he was asked to have the ball in opposition third 25 times a game.

Looks like Utd are going all out to sign Wan Bissaka anyway so it'd be a massive fight for him

Agree with this, Trent doesn't sense danger in the same way as Robertson. You would be surprised to see Robertson the wrong side of Moura if that Spurs attack had come down our left flank for instance. Yourdeadwright and others have pointed this out and I concur. On the other hand, his delivery from the right is fantastic and suits our style of play where he gets the opportunities to use that right foot.

Man U will give Madrid a run for their money with summer transfer spending.

    Clubs will be mugging them.

I'm glad we got most of our major signings done in the last year.

    Is that Adrien Rabiot ?

    Dave Bautista.

Incredible performances ? He's had very little to do? yes he's made saves,it's his role in the team to do this, he does not need to take stupid needless risks in situations where we are in complete control in a lot of games.. he's a good keeper,I'll stick to my opinion ,he's causing me more panic than any other player we have.

Judging by the crowd I'm not the only one thinking it.

    Totally agree with you!

    Stay strong, you're not alone.

Happy to see Liverpool win today it keeps the title race alive. When you look at the fixture run in Liverpool should be capable of 5 wins from their last 6 games. I'm not sure if that'd be enough as City are capable of 6 from their last 7 or better even but both sides have had good seasons so who ever wins it has deserved it.

    Remaining fixtures:

Date Liverpool fixtures Date Man City fixtures
    5 April Southampton (A) 3 April Cardiff (H)
    14 April Chelsea (H) 14 April Crystal Palace (A)
    21 April Cardiff (A) 20 April Tottenham (H)
    24 April Manchester United (A)
    26 April Huddersfield (H) 28 April Burnley (A)
    4 May Newcastle (A) 4 May Leicester (H)
    12 May Wolves (H) 12 May Brighton (A)

Surely he would have more ambition than joining the second best team in Manchester. Joining a team that are competitive in the league like Liverpool would be setting his sights much higher. :pac:

Wouldnt say so. Dalot looks half decent. They need a winger

Whats deee lite? Wan bissaka and sesengon would be 50m+. Chilwell shouldnt/wouldnt settle for 2nd fiddle to robbo.
Volland has scored about 10-12 goals a season for leverkusen. Not great.

I think Alisson is a good keeper, but also a lucky one. If he had been punished more heavily for his mistakes this season I think he'd be getting a lot of flak.

I think his greatest asset is that when he does make a mistake he clears it out of his head immediately. It's a trait that impresses me very much, but also, stop making mistakes please, Alisson :)

Just watched MOTD2, and it looks like that ball wasn't even stationary when Kane took the freekick for Moura's goal? Apologies if that's already been discussed, just catching up here!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,296 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Is Allison's bravery in doubt a little, the headed back pass from vd that he pulled out of last wk and again today when he came out to clear the ball and ducked out of it when he saw milner coming in, he was very lucky to get away with that today and it doesn't look great

Oh, and VVD is the one truly world class player we have. World class is a very arbitrary and debatable term. Suarez was undebatably world class, there are probably others over the past 20 years you could debate were world class...but you can't debate VVD, he just is.
