We'll have poxxed the league if we win it apparently.

79 points at the end of March is unreal. Shows how hard it is to win the league these days!

Some great words on here today.

    Poison & Toxic.

One not so great word that does my head in, "Of" in place of "have".

It's mad, Alisson will have 10 incredible performances in a row, save us countless points, and then misplace a few passes and people go back to saying he's average.

Incredible performances ? He's had very little to do? yes he's made saves,it's his role in the team to do this, he does not need to take stupid needless risks in situations where we are in complete control in a lot of games.. he's a good keeper,I'll stick to my opinion ,he's causing me more panic than any other player we have.

Judging by the crowd I'm not the only one thinking it.

Could have ended either way today, we hung in there and kept the pressure on. Disappointed we couldn't finish them off in the first half - had the chances and momentum but just didn't convert.

Robertson was MOTM for me, not just the block on the shot but all round play was excellent. Salah still low on confidence, I do believe he will snap out of that.

And the lovely part of the winner was not the header or the spill from Loris, but the fact Mo was clearly offside from the cross - these things level up and we were owed that after last season's equalizer from Spurs in same fixture.

We actually played very little ball to Mane or Salah today. Most of it went through Bobby. I was kind of surprised because I definitely think the two lads had the beating of Rose and Tripper.

    Delighted with the win.
Ran our luck with the slow changes & that Sissoko/Son chance had my heart in my mouth like it did for everyone watching.
Hopefully today showed Klopp why Fabinho needs to be one of the first names on the team sheet. Gets the ball going forward & the team playing on the front foot. Won't be watching the City games but hoping we can have a few more comfortable wins in the last 6 games. Saints on Friday now will be big for them too with Van Dijk returning.

No he's loads of hair. That lad looks more like Ross Kemp than Rabiot.

At least we know Cardiff will go to City and play with 11 behind the ball. That could be an interesting game. Cardiff unlucky today, they are running out of games and need to sit deep and hope for a point.

Warnock said he was going to play the u23s and focus on the next game. Something tells me he's still bitter about Rafa resting lads in 2005.

I'd say the majority of United, Chelsea and Arsenal fans are delighted with our result today. If Spurs had of won it would have been those three going for one CL spot but now it's effectively the four teams going for two spots.

We've helped them out hugely now.

It is inevitable that City will win so let's not get overly outraged.

The battle for 3rd and 4th is unbelievably tight. Man Utd & Spurs will be needing points v City and Chelsea will be needing points at Anfield

Really good run in as there's plenty of teams fighting for survival/top4/winners.

Had a quick run through the general thread for a laugh, first claims that Salah was offside... then suggestions Lloris conceded the OG on purpose :pac:

Lads doesnt matter what Warcock or anyone else does......simples of it is we have to win every game left. If we do that we are in with a chance. Drop points and it is over.....

You are worse to respond or even mention this sort of stuff.

The top teams always get the breaks. Look at Chelsea earlier. What’s funny is that I used to have to listen to this sort of stuff about united under SAF and you are now seeing that the best teams make their luck. The more attacking you are the more chances , breaks and mistakes from rival teams.

Liverpool got a break today because they took a massive risk and got rewarded. VVD wasn’t left one on one v sissoko and Son because Liverpool were sitting back and taking the draw. That is the sort of emboldened risk that SAF used to take and very often was what separated success from disappointment.

I said it here in January that city’s consistently will be the biggest problem for you guys but I also said that performances won’t matter once Liverpool win a game. Salah was right in that interview, if you play crap and win the last 6 league games the title is Liverpool’s. They are all winnable games and city won’t win all their final games. Liverpool’s biggest challange is themselves now, do they have the nerve and courage to go on and take the trophy!. I think under Klopp they will certainly try but each game will get harder and harder.

As an outsider/rival, I don’t think the CL is a positive at this stage. Legs will be heavy as it is and the extra games will be draining. On the flip side if salah can kick on from the goal who knows what the team might do.

At the end of the game it was hard not to get a bit annoyed/jealous listening to sky go on about how loud the fans were and the great history of Liverpool oh and to see The big smile on Dalglishs face!!! What was I thinking in wanting pool to win so united would have a better chance of top 4!!!

And then I remembered watching united win the league in 1992-93. And I remember when the Blackburn home game came around and it was all about a victory lap cause the league had been won. United came back from 1-0 down to win 3-1 with pallister scoring the last goal and he was the only squad player who hadn’t scored that season. It was a great celebration and it cuts to Matt Busby in the stands and they talk about United’s great history and how long it had been since they won the league.

I’ve suffered awful abuse from Liverpool fans over the years even though I never took to engaging in banter, even when united were dominant. And while I can’t bring myself to cheer them on in games , there is a part of me that wants them to win the league for reasons beyond the rivalry.

We can only hope Wolves make the FA cup final and throw the last game of the season!

If City drop points at all it won't be to Cardiff anyway no matter who they put on the field. It'll be during their United, Spurs, Burnley and Palace stretch of games.

United are Cities toughest remaining game on paper. It'll be interesting to say the least, United supporters cheering on City and Liverpool fans cheering on United.
