Robertson put in a MOTM performance but Virgil will probably get it

Salah has been poor the last few months tbh and it's not just doing to players double marking him. His touch and finishing have been way off. Still think Klopp is right to keep him on because he can still get a goal.

Alisson really isn't all that is he,it's vvd that is the difference, our keeper causes more fcking panic then mingolet with his play. Sure he can save a shot, most keepers can, hasn't been anything like world class imo.

Probably had his worst game for us today but if you think he's worse than Mignolet for causing panic then football aint your thing, to be honest.

Thought Virgil didn't have his best game, tbh. You don't often see him getting caught flat footed, like he was when Kane did him with a shimmy before getting a shot on goal, that lead to an Eriksen shot blocked by Robbo.

Still though, that's the high standards he sets and it's the big stuff that he turns up with time and again, no matter the occasion.

    I'd give Robbo MOTM.

Ya but Ming caused panic and couldn’t stop a shot so there’s that as well.

Seriously??? Have you forgotten what Mignolet was like?

It's mad, Alisson will have 10 incredible performances in a row, save us countless points, and then misplace a few passes and people go back to saying he's average.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,800 ✭✭✭bluefinger

Spurs missed a sitter at 1-1 and should of won the game with the counters and Allison(overrated-hyped) should of came out for that one on one easy chance maybe he had too much time and space to think about it thats being kind with excuse but Pool were blessed Spurs absoluted gifted them it the with the OG last min, but anfield crowd sucked it in.
City have game in hand still think City will it unless ladyluck evens itself out with Stevie G slipp years ago and karma and Pool will get abit of luck to win wudnt rule it out but just like if City get injuries or just focus on champs lge more and they slip up but I dont think they will and Iv callled every league right from xmas onwards since 2009 so Im usuallly right sorry 'Red Men' calm down lads but best a luck anyway.

You must have made a fortune on Leicester so.

I dunno is anyone saying he's average.

He doesn't need to do this mad ****. That's the problem. Why handicap yourself with this needless nonsense?

It'd be like if Van Dijk just randomly punched someone in the face every 10 games or so. He'd rightly be told to cut that **** out.

I don't buy this bollocks that it's just part of his game. It's bad decisionmaking, and that can be coached the same as everything. It doesn't mean he's not a great keeper though.

In the 5 Premier League seasons in which either Mignolet or Karius started for us we conceded on average 46 goals. This season with 6 games to go we have conceded 19.

People seem to have forgotten all the great saves he made early in the season that secured us 3 points instead of 1.

Points on the board always better than 4 games in hand. I know it's only one game in hand, but still we've put the points on the board. We can do no more, what we can do it play better.
Mo still no goal, so that's a good thing. He's still due a performance, that's going to come for sure.

Could have ended either way today, we hung in there and kept the pressure on. Disappointed we couldn't finish them off in the first half - had the chances and momentum but just didn't convert.

Robertson was MOTM for me, not just the block on the shot but all round play was excellent. Salah still low on confidence, I do believe he will snap out of that.

And the lovely part of the winner was not the header or the spill from Loris, but the fact Mo was clearly offside from the cross - these things level up and we were owed that after last season's equalizer from Spurs in same fixture.

Was a great win but we can't keep expecting to pull results out of the fire. However at this stage its all about the wins whatever way we can get them.

3 players off side for that goal, Mo was not, but linesman could have got it wrong and flagged considering the amount of people offside. That **** he got it right/

That's the difference. He makes mistakes but when you need him to pop up with a world class save to save you a point or two, he'll do it. Karius and Mignolet never even looked like doing that.

Kane was allowed virtually drop kick the ball from the free kick that lead to their goal, ball was clearly moving. Big result- every game like a cup final!

Now we can’t be crying about that recall Fulham away where Alison did the same thing

Henderson fouled him and it was a good foul.

Then Henderson fcuked up and turned his back to allow a quick free kick which was terrible game management after giving away a good foul.

At least we know Cardiff will go to City and play with 11 behind the ball. That could be an interesting game. Cardiff unlucky today, they are running out of games and need to sit deep and hope for a point.
